The Howard Centre is easy to find and to get to via a number of different methods of transport. We are right in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, adjacent to the main line Welwyn Garden City railway station.
By car
For those travelling by car, we are just 5 minutes from Junction 4 of the A1(M). Our 745 space car park is situated directly adjacent to the Centre offering reasonably priced, secure parking.

We have designated disabled parking spaces located on Level 1 of the Car Park, conveniently located close to our First Floor Centre entrance. These can be found by following the blue painted floor lane.
There are several parent and child car parking spaces on levels 3, 5, and 7 in the car park adjacent to the pay stations.
Hunters Bridge Link Access
Access from Hunters Bridge Car Park to the First Floor of The Howard Centre, via the link bridge is OPEN for public use. The access opening times are 8am-7pm, daily.
By train
Welwyn Garden City train station is connected to our First Floor entrance, via a link bridge, with not only direct access the centre but the rest of the town centre. The train services are currently provided by Thameslink and Great Northern.
We also have the train station’s ticket office on the First Floor. There are 4 ticket machines; 3 standard touch screen machines and one “card only” machine. There are also help-points located within the station.

By bus
The closest bus stops are located outside the North Mall centre doors, by Barclays. The 401 bus is direct to Welwyn Garden City Town Centre.
